Cross stitch
I rediscovered cross stitching during one of my therapy classes in the open clinic last year. The first project I finished was the Cross Stitch Bitch, which I had started several years earlier whilst living the crazy single life in the UK. After meeting Paul, however, I moved from playing with needles and thread to play with him.
The Cross Stitch Bitch has been mentioned in a previous post, but let me show her again here:

The following project of the bathing, drinking nymph, I'm still working on. Below is a snap of how far I've got.

Knitting
Yoga socks (October 2016 - )
Yoga socks are like normal socks but without the heel and top foot bits. Basically this means, they're pretty easy and quick to knit.

My first two pairs. Thought it was appropriate to display them on a meditation cushion. |

Scarf and shawl (February 2015):
Over the past two weeks I have finished a shawl and a scarf. The shawl can be used as a scarf as well, however, the scarf is only intended to be used as a scarf. (Not that it spontaneously combusts if utilised unintendedly - I hope.)
The scarf I made for Paul but he wasn't available this afternoon when I needed to do my photo shoots, so Owen stepped in instead. I can always count on him and luckily he looks good in most items of clothing and is incredibly photogenic.
The shawl I think I might keep - at least for the time being. I'm toying with the idea of sending it to my paternal grand mum as she's not very well at the moment, but looking at the picture below, Owen does seem to have taken a liking to it and who dare argue with an owl?

I love all your knitted offerings, they are cool!
